Starting Strong Conference Poster Presentation Abstract Call

The Starting Strong Conference: Pregnancy, Opioid Use, and Transforming Systems of Care will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference will bring together clinicians, researchers, treatment providers, policymakers, justice system partners, community organizations, and individuals with lived experience to explore innovative approaches to improving care for pregnant and postpartum individuals affected by opioid use disorder.

We welcome poster abstract submissions related to a variety of topics, including:

• Maternal and perinatal health
• Opioid and substance use disorder treatment
• Maternal behavioral health
• Health services and implementation science
• Community-engaged research
• Harm reduction and recovery support
• Justice-involved populations
• Health policy and systems change
• Quality improvement initiatives
• Cross-sector partnerships
• And other work aligned with improving maternal and infant health outcomes
